Secret Sister Feb gift.....or should I say GIFTS!!!

I know you are so jealous!!! This is what my fabulous secret sister sent me this month.. Well she actually sent it to my sister Kacey's house and when we went there for dessert on Valentine's day it was right there waiting for me.. All wrapped up so pretty... inside was the best gifts..2 valentine ring pops for each one of my sons, Chocolate sport shaped candies for each of my boys too, An awesom PINK feathered heart with a K hanging on it.... a big bag of green M&M's (which my mom totally loved for St. Patrick's Day...she is as Irish as they come) 2 bottles of Gold Shlager with some romantic massage oils and some special "lovin lotion"!! (thanks)...some cool PINK hot chocolate.... DELISH... But best of all she did it again.... She decorated a HUGE Mr, Goodbar to the Scrap Ect logo again... Now it matches my Dunkin Gift card. How great and creative is that?????????? She amazes me.. And to boot she gave me the nicest card about sisters and secret sisters....

Thanks so so much whoever you are!! I love it all Now I cant wait until March's gift comes.. I wish this would never end!!!

My Charms for Scrap Ect..

So happy those are done. They were so fun to do!! I just love the colors... I can't wait to get all the other charms and put it on the bracelet. It looks so great and I love the sound it makes when you move your wrist.. LOL., Hope you like them...

I am gleaming with joy right now..... My secret sister for Scrap Ect.. has to be the most clever of them all.... I don't know how but Sat night when I got into bed there was a wrapped present from her sitting on my pillow.... An adorable pink makeup bag filled with goodies. A hair clip, 2 lipglosses, ribbon, fanci brads, and the coolest chipboard journaling spots.... I was like how the heck did this get here???? I thought my DH was getting romantic on me...

Well if you are thinking that was clever.......... Listen to what she sent me today!!! I went to visit Chloe and she handed me this Dunkin Donuts bag ..... So I open it and inside was the most AWESOME gift card you ever saw!! My secret sister decorated the Dunkin Gift card to look like the Scrap Ect logo.... Which is soooooooo funny because my charms for the charm swapp are the scrap ect logo..... and the gift card was worth $20!! That is alot of Joe.....

Well I thank you from the bottom of my coffee mug!! I go to DD everyday and order a Decaf black with one splenda.... ( I am trying to do Kacey's diet.. no dairy or carbs) I will cherish this card forever and hang it up in my scrap room when it is all used up!!

This is a picture of the gift I made for Joe for Christmas... I put all the newspaper articles that he was in since he was 13. well not all the articles that was too many.. These were important ones. And of course the ones with his picture on it.. He is #6 the one with the real cute behind... LOL... Anyhow he loved it and I loved making it for him... I am real happy with the way it came out. It was made with love...

This is my family on Christmas morning... And yes we all have the same PJ's from the Childrens Place.. How cute is that!! We even had them for Chloe too.. But she was sleeping when we took this picture.. I will post a picture of the three of them later.. Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as I did.. Kristin

This was a challenge.. Trying to get Chloe to stay still for her Christmas card pictures. We laughed so hard. Every time I would set her up... I would walk away to take the picture and she would start walking toward me... Then she kept taking her headband off.. She still is the cutest little thing!! I just love her tights and her shoes!! I have been dabbling in photography and have to tell you I am really enjoying it. I took picture of my best friend Jackie's girls for Christmas cards. Yes that is right three girls Jillian, Carley and Jesse....Her middle daughter is my Godchild so I took some real cute ones of her for her 3rd birthday, which was in November. Anyhow these girls are just way too cute..

Scrap Ect Page Swapp!!

I know I haven't blogged in like forever!! I have been real lax in this department.. I am busy getting ready for Christmas!! But I did manage to have time to finish my page swapp for the Scrap Ect event that we will be attending in April.

If you don't know what that is.... It is prob the most awesome event a scrapper can go to, It is being held in Nashville, TN... Heidi Swapp and Jenni Bowlin will be there. They are my 2 most favorite scrappers.

My sister Kacey and my sister in law are coming with me.. This will be their first time going to an event like this.. I can't wait!! We are also going with Karen Raffone and Karen Filos, Susan from NY and my friend Liz Simon and the rest of the CE girls too! Can't wait.

Anyway here is a picture of my single page and my double page for the swapp! I will have to get a good picture of my charms too.. I think they came out so cute!! LOL.....

Pumpkin Picking

We took the kids apple and pumpkin picking to Eastmont Orchids in New Jersey. We had the most fun in the pumpkin patch. Don't get me wrong picking apples off the trees was fun but the boys just loved running through the pumpkin patch. My niece Chloe just started walking and she was a rip in the patch too!!
Fall is one of my favorite seasons.. Though this day was so hot we wore shorts and tank tops.. I love this time of year. I love the change in leaves and the colors of fall.

Creative Escape

Well I have been back for over a month now... It was back to school.. starting Kindergarten... and now I am finally posting abou it... We had a blast. I was all set with my pink luggage.... Barbara and I flew to Arizona on a Thursday and came back home on Sunday.. Just enough time girl time to scrap and hang with the girsl..
Creative Escape was awesome.. We hung out with my favorite scrapper Heidi Swapp, we met Rhonna Ferrer, Stacey Julian, Chris Randall and so many more... We did an awesome canvas project in Heidi's class, when it is completed I will post. And in Chris Randall's class we learned how to sodder.. Guess what my family is getting for Christmas??? LOL

The best part of the trip were our roommates.. Me, Barb, Liz Simon and Susan from NY roomed together... Oh my what laughs we had.. My stomach still hurts from laughing so hard... Thanks girls for a great time!

Lets Escape Swapp

I am a little late posting but I am only days away from leaving for Arizona to go to CREATVE ESCAPE... I joined the Let's Escape Swapp and this is a picture of what I made for my partner Sandy Perry.. Oh if you don't know what a swapp is.... You were given a list of items that first letter spelled out LETS ESCAPE..ex l is for lips, E is for embellishment and so on and so forth... Well you had to make your partner something so this is what I made for her.. Her scap space is peach, hence the color of the canvas... and I made her an initial in Heidi Swapp's paper...

I was lucky enough to meet my partner in July at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in PA.. So we took this group shot of all of us.. And I think it came out cute..

Hair cut!!!

I have been dying to do it.. And yep I did.. I cut a little over 10 inches of my hair off and donated it to Locks of Love....Where they make wigs for children who are sick.....

This was something that I have wanted to do for a while and then I took the plunge... I am trying to learn how to do it like my hairdresser, Jeanette does..I love the way the back looks.. so cool... I even bought the brush she used but you can never do it as good as they do when you go to the salon.... Oh well I will try and learn........ Kristin

Down the Jersey Shore

We just came back from a week down the shore!! We rented a house right on the beach with my parents, my sister, Derek and Chloe, and of course Joe and my boys. It was a perfect week.. Well only one day of rain, that is when we hit Target, otherwise beach bums!!

My friends make fun of me but I try and wear the same colors so we can get good pictures to scrap!! LOL Yep for 7 days I try to match!! You can laugh but it looks good in pictures.. Except by the end of the week the kids wanted to wear what they picked out ....

Okay call me cheesy!! But I just love getting all made up and getting dressed to go out.. We had a family wedding 7-7-07 cool right?? Anyway me and my sister in law AnneMarie had our hair and makeup done by these awesome stylists.... We thougth we were America's top models!!!

Tooth fairy!!!

Anthony's first loose tooth came out today... With a little help from me... Being a dental hygienst...his tooth was so loose and bothering him.. So we went into the bathroom and with a little help from me it came right out.. So tonight the tooth fairy is on her way to our house... So goodnight to all!! Met Game!!

I have to honestly say this was more fun than Disneyworld!!! My husband and I took our sons to thier very first Major League MET game... We had awesome seats.. 7 rows from the MET dugout... They were in heaven... Anthony got his hat signed by John Maine... So cute... His favorite player is David Wright though, but it was still exciting....I think I may have been a bit more excited than them.. I cried everytime I looked at their faces...

Then my husband and Nicholas were on the diamondvision TV screen in the staduim.. I was so excited... I couldnt grab my camera fast enough....Well they got to see 2 homeruns and a MET win... It was really so thrilling... LETS GO METS!!!!!!

4th of July

I know it is a little past the 4th...But anyway here are some of the pictures.. We had a BBQ at my inlaws...well it actually is thier party that we keep inviting more and more of our friends and their kids too.. So we now call it our party but give them the bill...

You can see Chloe's cast in the picture... The kids just go crazy over her.. Chloe and Bella had the same dress on and they were so cute.. Bella is my son Anthony's best friend.. so cute... And she has a brother Joe-Joe who is also 3 like Nick and they are 2 bosum buddies...

The weather wasn't the greatest but we did have fun and the kids even did sparklers...

My sister asked me to take Chloe's 1st birthday portraits for her.. So we went to our friends house who lives right on the water. We figured it would be a great background. So I thougth hey while we are there I would try and take my son Nicholas' 3rd bd pictures too.

Well I lucked out with my son.. Chloe on the other hand wasn't so great.. But dont worry we got great ones from her party.. I will post them next.

My Sons First Stiches!!!

I know this was inevidable being a mother of two sons.. My oldest son who is 5 slipped on the wet pavers at my i nlaws house and busted open his chin... He was a trooper through the whole process. He didn't even cry not one tear!! He had to see a plastic surgeon and got 9 stiches in his chin. This all happend on Thursday June 21st the first day of summer.. I hope this is no indication on how the rest of our summer will be..

He got the stiches out on Monday and once again was a trooper.. Now we just have to stay out of the water till Thursday!! A little hard here when it is 97 degrees!

Let's just hope this is the worst thing I have to go through this summer... Kristin

Happy 3rd Birthday Nicholas!!!

This Monday my baby turned three... My how the years are flying by... It only makes me want to have another one... I am lucky with my little guy cause he is to tiny I can still sit and hold him on the rocking chair... And still rock him.... He is just so damn cute!!

His obcession is trucks.. Not just ordinary trucks.. CAT machines, backhoes, bulldozers, rollers,dumptrucks, excavators and so on.... So the theme for this pool party was guess?????? TRUCKS........... So my sister and I made him a birthday cake, well not really a cake, that looked like a construction yard... He absoutely loved it... but couldnt understand why his trucks were on the cake..lol I say it wasnt really a cake because it was a dessert we call DIRT... It is oreo cookies, pudding, cool whip and cream cheese. Delish!!

He even got a huge backhoe from his Nana and Poppy and has been digging in my yard since!!! Just wanted to share in my baby turning three!!! Happy Birthday Baby!!

A little late in posting... but here are some layouts that I got done at the Relay for LIfe crop in Brick NJ..... I had a great time and the crop was alot of fun.. Kacey and AnneMarie came... they are now true scrappers.. I am so happy that I converted them into this.. They are so hooked... and they are so talented... I think my sisters pages will be published before mine and I have been scrapping for years!! lol

We are going to have scrap night together on Tuesday... So it will be like Tuesday with Sisters!! LOL

Just wanted to tell you what I have been up too.. I have a love of photography and always take pictures wherever I go.. At occasions, the park.at school ect.. So lately some friends have hired me to take pictures for them.. Sort of semi professional.. I have been hired to take pictures for some events.. I have done 2 sweet 16's and some weddings.. This weekend I took some photo's of Barbara's son Nicholas.. If you remember he was our guest of honor at the Grace Crop for Autism... So I have been takng some classes and have totally been obsessed with photography.

My cousin Diana got married Sat and I caught a few great shots of her too!! So my little business is growing.. Just by word of mouth... I have another Sweet 16 on June 9th and a wedding on June 30th..

Jenn Starr Class

This was just too much fun!!! I was lucky enough to get Jenn Starr to come and teach 2 classes at my house.. Yep in my scrapping room!! It was a blast!!! We did a awesome chipboard book with all this cool new chippies and of course her paper line, which toatally rules!!! And the second class was crazy for alchohol inks....
Even though we did this class in the beggining of March, I have not added my pictures yet... As soon as I do I will post them, possibly this week....
Well a shout out to all my friends who share in my jenn Starr excitement... Kacey, AnneMarie, Karen, Barbara, Karen R, Hope Brenna and Mara.... Thanks for coming girls.... it was alot of fun!!! Florida getaway!!

What a great time of year to go away.... Just a few short days in Sunny Florda can cure the winter blues for me..... My kids had a ball and the weather was perfect,,,,
I didnt go to any scrapping stores there yet... We were in Naples. My in laws are semi snow birds and just bought a house in Naples. So we are pretty new to the area... I will be going again for Easter break and promised myself to find a scrapping store. '

Well back to reality now. Snow is on the ground and the wind is howling outside... Spring seems a long time away.

Valentines Day presents!!!!

This was a happy day for me!! My adorable sons sent me roses with the most lovely card!! They think I am pretty!!
Secondly my very best husband Joe, bought me a new scrapbooking tote!! And it is PINK!! Love love love it!! I was in desperate need for a new one of these!! And it was perfect!! Me and the boys bought Joe a new bowling bag that he loved too!! So cupid was great at shooting his arrow to us!!!
My boys and I made a special dinner for Valentines too!! We made heart shaped ravioli's!! The picture isn't the best but boy they tasted good!! We even ate on our good china! It was a treat and a very happy valentines day!!

Iam not a believer that Valentines Day is for girls. It is for those you love and who love you... I can not even begin to express the love I feel for these two boys.. They are pure sunshine... Plus they are so damn handsome!

Jersey Boys NCY night on the town

Friday night in NYC. It is my all time favorite place to be. My husband said to me, in the car on the way into the city, "Look at that smile on your face. You just love going to the city!" And he is right. I don't know what it is about it. I just get so happy there.Anyway my and DH and my SIL and BIL took my father and mother in law to see the play Jersey Boys for his 60th birtday this Friday.... We started off dinner at an awesome family style rest. Tony DiNapoli's on 43rd St and after the play went to this famous dessert place Serendipity. (from the movie with John Cusak) Except that it was on E60th and 3rd Ave which is quite a walk from the theatre district and we walked!! When we got there at 11pm there was an hour wait! They werent happy with my choice to walk until we got there got seated and had the best Frozen Hot Chocolate EVER!!! (it was one of Oprah's favorite things last year)It was alot of fun!! I just love NYC the city that never sleeps!!

This was defintely an experience. My sons pre school class went ice skating over the holiday break. He or anyone in his class has ever been on skates. So my back was killing me after about 2 minutes on the ice because I was bending over trying to pick him up every time he fell. My camera, of course, was around my neck so when I bent over to help him it kept hitting him in the head!! He said Mom this really wasnt a good idea!! LOL
Well kids will be kids and they dont give up like us adults. After about the 10th fall he saw Isabella let go of the side and then he just took off after her!! She looked like Dorothy Hamill and we were calling him Scott Hamilton!! These kids were amazing! I couldnt believe my eyes! Now I cant wait to scrap the rest of the pictures. Oh what fun!!

My Son as Jospeh in the school Christmas play

Is this too cute or what?? This is my sons acting debut in the pre shcool Christmas play. He was Joseph and had 3 lines to say. He did it perfectly!! I was so proud. I was crying and almost didn't get good pictures because my eyes were all blurry from tears. His friend Guilia was Mary, and she looked so cute too. Can you believe these costumes? They are just too precious these kids. I wish they would stay like this forever!! Oh how I love him!!!!! My son!!!

Now that the cat is out of the bag, I wanted to post some pictures of what I sent my Secret Sister, who was the talented NIKKI LANGSTON!! I had so much fun making her some stuff like this cool wood N. I decorated a wooden cutting board and put the most adorable picture of her and her hubby, too cute!! I also made her an advent calendar from a metal cookie sheet (thanks Cindy for that idea) and some other goodies.....
Merry Christmas ladies....... Hope Santa brings you all lots and lots of presents!!! Going to wath some TV with my DH now!! We have so much to catch up on Tivo!! Toodaloo!!

This is just way too much!!! I am so excited I cant even type!!! Oh yeah, I do think I have the best secret sister! My package arrived so neatly wrapped up in a pizza box!! How cute is that??? What was inside was just awesome. A home made clock by no other than the famous (well to me anyway) Catherine Erhardt~~~~ Yep indeed!!

Not to mention the awsome paper, rub ons, chipboard up the wazoo~~ And the most amaing wall art letters and the tool to use to rub them on your wall!! Just way to generous!! But the most original and greatest gift was a copy of Ali Edwards book which I didnt have and wanted, autographed to me personally!! I just love it thanks so much Catherine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the finished product of Cindy's pocketbook class we took yesterday at her house!!! Thanks so much for helping us make these gorgeous, gorgeous pocketbooks!! I know my mom is going to love this~~ I used pictures of her three grandchildren. Some pics of them together and some pics of her and my Dad with them on it too!! It came out really cute!! I know this is crazy!! Two blogs in a week!! Just thought I would share some homemade Christmas gifts. I made some Christmas ornaments for some of my friends and the pink one is for my niece, Chloe. It is her first Christmas!!! The clock if you couldnt guess is for my sister in law!! And the stars, thanks to my friend Cindy helping me learn to do these cute star ornaments, were just some little treats for some aunts. Ladies let me tell you, that Cindy is one talented and creative lady!!

I can't wait to give them away now!! Christmas where are you???????????????

I know I haven't blogged like in forever!! We'll besides doing my Secret Sister projects which I will post pics after she gets all her stuff!! My sister in law got married on Dec 2nd. The wedding took up most of my free time.... So sorry no blogging in a while.
Anyway this is a family picture of us from the wedding. I was the matron of honor, my husband was a grooms men and my boys were the ring bearers. They were so adorable!!

The wedding was great. Perfect day. Sun was shining and it wasn't even cold!!!
My boys were a hit. They walked down the aisle like champs. They even were announced into the hall and walked in holding hands. That is great for a 2year old to handle!! So now we are coming down from the wedding high and concentrating on Christmas. We have an annual party at our house every holiday. It is next Sat so that will keep me busy this week. Hello there fellow bloggers. Today is my birthday!! Yipee! I just love birthdays. Especially mine. I am so happy to share this with my fellow scrappers. My DH and my 4 year old made me a 2 page layout !!! Yep a layout ladies. He scrapped for ME! DH and Anthony went in my scraproom on Friday and put this page together. He even used RUB ONS!! I have the pics on my camera so I will post it tommorow. You will love it. It is titled Watch us Grow and it is pictures of my husband when he was little and various pictures of my sons from birth until now!! How ingenius!!
Just when think it can't get better........ I also got a gift certificate to Ritz Camera for a new camera!!! So guess where I am headed to tommorow!!!!!!!!! I am so happy and excited. I am deciding between a Cannon or a Nikkon. Until he came home with this certificate and said he was liking the Sony! So I will have to decide once I am there!!
Also my scrapping gals came over on Sunday for an all day crop!!! Wait until you see my homemade presents from Cindy~~~~ To die!! Kim also bought me a roladex holder for all my awesome roladex's, the cutest ribbon and ribbon holder!!! Barbara gave me a cool scrapbook kit, Love it!! It was just endless!!

This is my finished clock from CE, that I am so very proud of. Thanks Heidi for another wonderful idea. It is hanging proudly in our home. Thanks to my DH, who hung it up for me in the most perfect spot!! I just love looking at it everytime I pass it. It is also hanging right outside my scrapping room, so you know I am seeing it alot...........

Second post!! Yipee!! These are just some pics of my awesome scrap room!! This room turned out so much better than I ever expected. I thought I was getting a closet!! When we were building our new house, last year,I asked my husband for some scrap space. This was much bigger and better than I thought!! I even painted it PINK, since 3 boys are in the house I needed something pink around!! (Thanks babe for the best scrappin room!! ) So now you know where I like to sit and create!! Enjoy!! Kristin
